Surviving Winter Appeal

We’ve reached that time of year when the nights draw in and we prepare for the colder months ahead. For thousands of people in our county living in fuel poverty their winter preparations will be accompanied by a feeling of dread and worry over how they will keep themselves and their loved ones warm and safe. That is why we are asking for your support for our 13th annual Surviving Winter campaign.

If you are in a position to pass on some of your Winter Fuel Allowance or just wish to donate we can redirect it to where it is needed most, helping to support vulnerable local people at a time of crisis.

We will be hugely appreciative of any amount you feel able to give. You can donate by card by phone by calling 01380 738989 or online using the button below.

Together we can make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable people in our communities.

Thank you for your support.

Support Your Community

Over the last few years we have given in excess of £1.5 million each year through hundreds of grants to grassroots voluntary and community groups doing vital work in their neighbourhoods. Our education grants also give young people the chance to improve their development, learning and future employment prospects.

We carry out research into local need to ensure our support is targeted where it is needed most. By tackling the most pressing local issues we can help build stronger communities.

Your kind donation will be used to support our wider work and enable more people across Wiltshire and Swindon to thrive.

Dan Webber Fund

Dan Webber 1976-2022

Dan had a passion for all things outdoors - rock climbing, skiing, kayaking, biking......

He died before he could achieve all his ambitions. He left a legacy in order that more young people could experience the joy, friendship and challenge in physical activity. And that this might positively influence the rest of their lives.

Dan's legacy, The Dan Webber Fund is being administered by Wiltshire Community Foundation

Through the fund, grants will be given to grassroots groups and charities to enable disadvantaged children and young people to be challenged, gain confidence and learn new skills by participating in indoor and outdoor physical activities of all kinds as well as support community organisations undertaking practical initiatives that take action against climate change.

The Fund has now awarded its first grant and you can read more about it here.

Thank you for your support.

Women and Girls Fund

Anyone can donate to the fund; all gifts are welcome, large or small. But we are asking people to consider signing up to a monthly gift so that together we can provide regular and secure funding to the groups and charities supporting women and girls. Collectively we can make a real and lasting difference to women’s lives.

Anyone who signs up to make a regular gift to our Women and Girls Fund will be kept up to date with its progress, details of the projects it supports and the lasting difference it makes. You will also be invited to our annual Women and Girls Fund event, held around International Women's Day on March 8, 2024, to meet some of the inspirational groups involved in helping women across Wiltshire and Swindon.

Giving via Enthuse is quick and easy, simply click the button below. We’ll make sure that your donation goes where it is needed most and will have the greatest impact.

If you are a business and would like to enable your teams to support this through GAYE schemes please give us a call to discuss
