Skills & Information Workshops - Half day interactive workshops for trustees, staff and volunteers

Voluntary Action Swindon
Voluntary Action Swindon is the local development organisation (CVS) in Swindon. VAS is a charity that supports the development of a vibrant, effective and influential voluntary and community sector locally. VAS also provides a wide range of services including funding advice, training, room hire and printing facilities.

Community First is Wiltshire's Rural Community Council, a charity that works at the forefront of community development to help improve the quality of life and economic well being of people and local communities throughout Wiltshire and Swindon. They work in close partnership with local communities, voluntary organisations, statutory agencies and funders to help develop and deliver wide ranging community programmes that bring social, economic and environmental benefits to local people in Wiltshire and Swindon.
The Charity Commission register and regulate charities in England and Wales, to ensure that the public can support charities with confidence. They register eligible organisations in England and Wales which are established for only charitable purposes, take enforcement action when there is malpractice or misconduct, ensure charities meet their legal requirements, including providing information on their activities each year, make appropriate information about each registered charity widely available and provide online services and guidance to help charities run as effectively as possible
